I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, especially enjoying the clean and comfortable Fisherman's Quarters rooms. The price was very affordable, but be sure to book in advance since everything tends to shut down during the off-season. The location is perfect for fishermen as you're just steps away from the dock, though the musty smell in the room could be off-putting for some. Overall, it met my needs perfectly for a fishing trip.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the room was neat with everything I needed, including a nice balcony overlooking the marina. The only downside is that Hatteras doesn't have much to offer in walking distance, so you'll likely need a car to explore the area. Overall, it was a great experience and a good value for money.

I had a wonderful time during my stay! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and I loved the nice-sized balcony that overlooked the marina. While the rooms were clean and generally well cared for, there was a slight musty smell that could be off-putting at times. The continental breakfast was decent, but for something warm, I highly recommend trying the restaurant across the street. The only downside was that there's not much to do in Hatteras, but it's a short drive to some lovely beaches and eateries.

I did appreciate the location and the beautiful view from the balcony, but the outdated facilities and lack of services really detracted from my enjoyment. While some elements were satisfactory, I would not recommend staying here.

On the other hand, I heard from others that the mold issues were severe and unacceptable. The convenience for fishing was great, but the issues with air quality in certain rooms could ruin a trip for some.

My experience at this hotel was quite the rollercoaster. On one hand, the Fisherman’s Quarters provided a solid place to crash after a long day of fishing, and the prices were very affordable. On the other hand, the bathrooms were cramped, and there was serious mildew in the shower. If you're looking for a budget option and don’t mind an older style, it could work for a fishing trip, but just manage your expectations.
